Loaded with extra unnecessary products and fees. Would use an alternative if it existed, but you lobby Washington to make sure that is as difficult as possible. Nice job monetizing our God-awful tax system!

TurboTax Desktop Preferred over Online Formats

The online completion of the tax returns was as acceptable process, but it was very different from the way I used to submit my returns using the desktop software. The desktop software was more "user friendly" and was formatted in a way that made it easier to review entries as they were made and clearly showed how much you owed or taxes due as you progressed through the forms. I much prefer the desktop version! Maybe I'm just old-school.
