TurboTax was much easier to navigate this year

The experience this year was much better than in previous years. While I hate giving our terrible government and congress money, but the app was much easier to navigate this time through.

Turbo tax is ok

I did it on my own I didn't have a fee til after I did deposit part that was different to me

The Preferred Choice

Turbo Tax is designed for the everyday user with advance tools incorporated for the use of CPA professionals, which is fantastic. I'm a fan, as well as an experienced professional who prefers Turbo Tax's software over all other brands that's available to complete and submit tax filings for individuals and businesses.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Had to file an amended return.

Turbotax instructions and wording do not match what is on the return. Being a full time student is NOT an unusual situation. Somehow you allowed me to complete my return without indicating that someone else can claim me as a dependent. You ask a dozen times to review my AGI. This should have been caught in review. Rewrite your instructions.

Could be better

I really don't like that I need to answer the same questions I have already answered if I go back io section that I already completed. It is not easy to move around to different sections.
The product pricing is not very clear. I didn't see anything that explained why I was at Premium and what specific forms I made use of that require it and would be lost of I downgraded to free.

Less Informative and user friendly

I liked the format of the pages less this year.
The questions don't seem as thorough to make sure you think through every situation.
There used to be more details on each page about calculations, why info is needed, how info is used.
And there used to be more pop ups for additional details you could access on each page.
Now it seems you have to search more; less convenient and less user friendly.
I liked the feeling that Turbo Tax educated me as I did my taxes.
The questions don't seem as thorough to make sure you think through every situation.

Turbo Tax Online is awesome!!

Have used Turbo Tax software since it was introduced, this is my first year using Turbo Tax Online.
Took awhile to adapt, but once I got rolling it flowed smoothly. Easy to enter data, auto save and return to complete as I gathered info needed. Always accurate!!
Quickest I have ever completed my Federal and State taxes.
