Turbo tax was easy to navigate but l feel pricey

I believe your app may be wrong in calculating my taxable income from my annuity. May be audited over this. It also did not ask about any loss carryovers from last year which l think l was entitled to. We’ll see what the IRS has to say.

I struggled a little bit with the K1 section but overall it seems the whole experience is getting better. My return is getting much more complicated.

Using the website version is difficult as opposed to previous years where we could download the software. Downloading the software was quick as it was the same as previous years. Next year might have to use other programs that other people use.

Finally Done...just a few gotchas

I have used the turbo tax product years ago , desktop version..Liked it better since you could see the forms and numbers. Perhaps it will be better to pay upfront for online version, which is great, since data is not local and avoids personal computer issues. Some of the screens lacked help support for those DIY people..
It also made me pay for a NJ return as a PA resident which was not required to be filed as a PA Resident.

Turbotax could have lifted the information from last year's returns into the current year but chose to give a senior citizen a hard time to trudge thru data gathering and data entry.
