AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESNT USUALLY FILE THEIR TAXES THEMSELVES. THE LEARN MORE TABS WERE DEFINITELY INFORMATIONAL AND HELPFUL. WILL BE USING AGAIN!

My Turbo Tax Experience

Turbo Tax has been a godsend for my personal Taxes. I've used this service for years and years and never had a rejected return or audit. I'm certain i've never spent more than an hour or 2 filing my taxes any given year. Just about every document can be uploaded/imported and or you can enter the information yourself. It's like having an expert tutor and personal lawyer present as you file.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Some frustrating issues

TurboTax recommended the Standard Deduction before asking about charitable contributions, medical expenses, mortgage interest, and more. If I hadn't been paying attention, it would have cost me a lot of money. It would help if I could open up a detailed navigation menu (this option used to exist)

I found it more involved this year, and was frustrating me with the Ca Tax section… went online on my phone and you tube and cleared it up.. Phone app seemed Simpler to usr

Turbo Tax On Line Gets The Job Done

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years. This years' experience is better because it's on line. I didn't have to go through installing the software and going through updates, restarting my computer and all that baloney. However, it is over twice as expensive to do it on line, and I don't understand why. You didn't have to create packaging, pay for packaging, pay for transport to a retail location, pay a percentage to the retailer, nor have to create and verify serial numbers and all that detail. The feature list appears to be about the same, and the interface is much the same as on the CD version, so as a longtime user, that is a real benefit. Not sure it was worth the extra expense, but it's now done, and that's the main thing. Thank you, once again, Intuit, for creating a smart, intuitive, safe, well thought out product to get this onerous annual task completed.

Huge disappointment; hours wasted....

Too many frustrations with the online version to recount. Then, at the end, it would not let me e-file, saying I did not successfully do so last year, although I had a copy in hand and received my refund long ago. Finally, when I e-filed as a NEW filer (more wasted time), it automatically displayed my AGI from last year's return. I was always on tenterhooks that it would fail and I would lose all prior work. Hours wasted compared with previous versions....

I love Turbo Tax

i have been doing my tax returns for past 15+ years on turbo tax desktop version. This year, I did on turbo tax web site and it was about the same and now I can use my information for next year without window updates etc. I always have liked Turbo Tax but sometimes they are too focused on selling extra service which is understandable since it is a business but it can be annoying.
Over all I love Turbo Tax.
