Support was poor

The software was good, easy to use. I wish a few of the tax law options were clearer about what they refer to. I did not like the "human" support or reviewer. They just reiterated the software questions, not adding value at all. A waste of $45.

the program did not accept that I had filed with turbo tax in 2024. Called help line - spoke with Mindy - she was great to help me unravel the mistake.

Users time is respected less and less every year

Sad decline over the years. Allot of useless entry that does effect, longer click through paths to avoid up-selling wasting user times. Putting opt out far down on the bottom of the screen in finer print is deceptive. Wasting even more user time.

Still painful, still misleading initial price tag

What to say after expending 7h over an estimated 1:32 h, that estimation should clearly be improved, especially because my tax return remains very similar over the years. Foreign tax modules are a pain in the neck, although I understand they may not be a feature used by many. Instructions like "return to the place where this was entered to correct that entry" are not very helpful: Turbotax should know exactly how to bring me there.

NEVER USE AN ITUIT PRODUCT. RUN FAST AND FAR.

Well. Lets start with first of all you did not let me pull over my intuit self employed data anymore. Making that a desktop only feature which costs more even though I ALREADY PAY FOR QUICKBOOKS SELF EMPLOYED. Secondly you charged me 129 dollars to file my federal taxes even though it was supposed to be free to file my federal. State charge I expect. THEN ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT YOU CHARGED ME $40 TO USE MY RETURN TO PAY YOUR STUPID FEES AND THEN AN ADDITIONAL $35 TO PUT MY RETURNS INTO MY OWN BANKACCOUNT THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST CROCK I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I AM CANCELLING MY QUICK BOOKS SUBSCRIPTION AS SON A I AM DONE WITH THIS REVIEW AND WILL NEVER USE AN INTUIT PRODUCT AGAIN.
