Worse each year with AI

Super annoying to have the AI and chat info pop and need to be dismissed every couple of slides.

Turbo Tax sloppy. possible scam

The software product has flaws. This was evident during my work to file my original tax forms, and then again, to file an amended tax form for state and federal.
When using Turbo Tax for the original tax forms, my information got caught in an unending loop, and I had to seek Turbo Tax help to get out of it. During that loop, Turbo Tax forgot that I had received 1099's from Schwab in previous years, and then failed to recognize Schwab when I typed it in.
As I was ready to file my original returns, Turbo Tax tried to charge me for "Tax -assisted" option, even though I had signed up specifically for premium (NOT EXPERT-ASSISTED), AND HAD NEVER REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO AN EXPERT DURING THE ENTIRE PROCESS. This same scam happened last year, as well.
To begin a process for amended return, I uploaded a form 1099-R from Schwab. The next screen asked me, "Who is the payer?" After that, the next screen showed me a form saying that the payer's address was MY OWN ADDRESS.
When it came to filling my state amended tax return, we did it electronically (through Turbo Tax), but the software counseled me to print out three pieces of paper, with instructions for mailing in to the State. One of three pieces of paper was form MI-1040-V, which was fine. But on the second line of "What You Need to Sign" was a direction to sign and date form MI-8493, which was NOT included in the 3-page printout, and I doubt that this form needed to be signed at all, since I had signed with Turbo-Tax help, electronically.
