Turbo tax was easy to navigate and made this as painless as possible. The government is the big pain in the. I'll leave it at that. I've been using the desktop version of Turbo Tax for over 25 years. this is the first year I'don it all online. I will continue to us it online.

Seems I have multiple turbotax accounts, and was being pushed an expert version for more money even though I did not need it.

Not as user friendly as in the past. State information froze up and nothing I did would unfreeze it so I had to eliminate all of my information and start at the beginning again in order to proceed through the full return. When I tried to file I was informed that I was unable to file my returns with turbo tax for the year 2024 which was not correct. I in fact did file successfully with turbo tax. In order to file my 2025 taxes I had to agree that I had filed unsuccessfully and fill out even more information before I could file.
