TurboTax makes it so easy

It was so easy and quick! It took me less than an hour this year. It took a little longer last year, but now that it remembered some of my information from last year, it was a breeze.

Awful product.

The online TurboTax is horrible compared to the downloaded version. I only used it because TurboTax forced me to by making the downloaded product incompatible with Windows 10. There is no way to add supporting details, such as showing calculations that lead to an entry. They also make it very difficult to see the actual tax forms, while also making it hard to quickly check a particular entry without enduring endless dialogs.

I like Turbo Tax because it's convenient, fast, and fairly easy to complete. I prefer using it over going to a tax preparer.

TurboTax became more difficult to use

I've been using TurboTax to file my tax return for many years. Somehow the questions the tool asked me this year became very confusing comparing to prior years, and many times the situations I have are not directly listed in the options to select. In addition, the transactions that the tool pulled in from the bank are missing information. I had to ask AI many clarification questions to complete my return this year. The tool is supposed to be designed to guide someone without intensive income tax knowledge to complete the filing effectively and efficiently, however I found that it was heading to an opposite direction, hopefully the intention is not to get people to use its expert version.
