I have been using TurboTax pretty much every year since 1999. It's always easy and my taxes are always done right. I love the checks it does for you, it is very reassuring. I recommend TurboTax to anyone who asks.

Turbo tax walkthrough

Was a little more difficult with the IP Pin, verification and recheck the steps. I get but it was more difficult I thought.

Good Tool for Self-Filers

The product is very intuitive and for the most part easy for filers with a W-2. There are some problems with accuracy. When submitting 1099's for stocks and cryptocurrency, it failed to accurately gather totals gains and losses. Otherwise, I do like the suggestions that the tool offers along the way to further maximize the return.

Very helpful, slightly manipulative

TurboTax was extremely helpful, with an easy-to-use and highly intuitive interface that helped me through even my unusually-complicated situation this year. Some minor accuracy issues in the auto-fill, though, and an "optional" request for data where it was difficult to find how to say "no."
Pros: My employment status changed this year
