Payment Problems, Overpaid for Online,wanted DeskT

My TurboTax experience was awful this time. It was my first time doing it online because the TurboTax website kept rejecting both of my credit cards when trying to purchase Desktop. I spent a lot of time on the phone with both credit card companies who said it was on the TurboTax end. Uncertain if I would finish on time, I did it online. And then continued to have payment problems. I then called TurboTax help, who acknowledged there was a bug in the payment software, and then the online worked, without me realizing it, but then i paid too much for it. I also really didn't like the interface of the online version and that i had to reenter driver's license information and AGI, despite having used TurboTax Desktop for years.

Great User Experience

Everything is organized in a way that gives you confidence you’re doing it right. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a straightforward and reliable tax solution.

Confusing when transitioning from desktop version

Going from desktop to online version of TurboTax was not smooth. The ordering is different and it is confusing to figure out. Also, confusing to figure out how I do returns for other members of my family in parallel. Even this review tab is doing confusing things. It needs to get better.

Frustrating

I used the Desktop version of TurboTax in 2024 but the online version in 2025. The online version does not allow easy access to the specific forms whereas the desktop version did. This was very frustrating as I wanted to go back to see how answering the step by step questions affected the forms. I spent way too much time trying to find answers to what were previously easy questions.
