Helpful Process But Check Document Upload Accuracy

I like the simple questions. However, the document upload process, although easy to use, loaded the "payer" information from two of my three 1099-Rs incorrectly. It listed my own information instead of the actual payer's information as stated on the 1099. My own name and address were listed at the payer of the retirement distributions.

Cumbersome

I did not find this year's version at all helpful. I had to look for things this year that I normally was walked through. This was not a good experience. If I did not know what the return should have looked like, I would have missed inputting several items.

Turbo Tax Is Getting Worse and Worse

I feel like the experience got significantly worse from last year. The interface was less intuitive. The in-app advertising made it difficult to downgrade plans. The app was buggy and I definitely didn't finish on time. The expert advise thing was pushed in my face for no reason. I suspect your product managers are at fault for this. The app was buggy too. Renew your focus on the user experience; stop focusing on vanity metrics or inflating your resume.
