Excellent Product

I engaged with two individuals with Turbo Tax. The first individual was Alfred and he was very helpful. The second individual I could not understand his name because his accent was very strong. The second person was not helpful.

Most of the experience is easy to use. There were a few items that popped up as a possible error, but didn't offer a clear reason why, nor did it offer helpful guidance.

Prefer Desktop Version

First time using online version. I very much prefer the desktop version. I was not able to see my possible return until after I paid and was about to download return to IRS. I noticed a form that I thought was not necessary and I was not asked about the items on the form. And it said I had not filed my 2024 return with TT when I've been using TurboTax for at least 30+ years! I don't feel as confident with the online version.
I had computer issues so it was necessary to use this version. I will attempt to go back to the other version for 2026 return.

hard to use

Previous years were much easier to navigate. Extremely hard to go from one form to another.
Upsells were extremely confusing and excess.
I bought state and federal but description made it seem like I needed to pay for state

Online version is a huge disappointment.

This was my first time using the online version since my old computer cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 which is required now. The process of filling everything out is not as easily navigated as the downloaded version, nor is the AI help. I did not see an ask the community button and there was a problem with one of my returns. Since I couldn't figure it out after multiple tries, I will need to mail it in and hope the IRS corrects it. There is a glitch in the system when trying to file. When selecting paper for one and efile for my other 2 turboxtax glitched out. Once I changed the option to save for later, the program was able to proceed. I used to buy the Premium download for under $100. The online version is more than double that. It will be cheaper for me lo buy a new laptop with Windows 11 for next year. Very disappointed in both price and quality.
