Should be less buggy for the price

Quick but pricey. Management of tax forms needs improvement. The site asks about forms that were already uploaded and shows NEEDS REVIEW flags for forms that have already been reviewed.

TurboTax has gone downhill

TurboTax was significantly more difficult to work with this year than it has been in previous. The prices were higher and included less per level, ability to define unique income situations were removed from previous years, and near no help was provided to guide users. Absolutely terrible experience.

Preparing the tax return would have taken MUCH less time, if TurboTax didn't continually ask to "upgrade" your experience! STOP trying to sell more products!!!! If someone wants to ONLY file a return, they should be able to. I know my complaint will not do ANY good, because I have mentioned this EVERY SINGLE YEAR that I have used this RIP OFF!!!!! Guess who will be filing elsewhere next year!!!! I hope I am not alone - your greediness is ridiculous!!!

Bad year for TurboTax

What happened??? I have use Turbo Tax for years an it has always been intuitive. Not this year! I had to search for forms that I knew needed to be completed. These were the same forms used the previous years, so they should have been at the ready. And the names of the sections listed in the search/help response did not match the sections in the program.
At the beginning it was unclear on how to select the basic option. And every 3 pages you are upselling the next level adding at least an additional 20 minutes to the amount of time it took to complete.
