Auto import sucks for pdf

The auto import for my w2 sucks it read line 10 wrong which didn't let me qualify for the child care tax credit. Had to contact support and it took us a while to figure out line 10 was auto filled wrong with the pdf upload but after we figured it out it was good. Good support.

Twana was INCREDIBLE! And I only had to wait 23 minutes to speak with her! She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! I was in an endless loop trying to figure out my HSA info vs. my MSA info (turns out I didn't HAVE an MSA!). She got me through the loop to a point where I was able to finally submit my forms. I feel absolutely confident in her guidance and don't know what I would have done without her help!

Turbotax was pretty smooth

I did not care for having to be upgraded while I was filing, and I didn't like not knowing what my cost would be before the end. But, it was pretty smooth and once i got it down it was fine!

If there's an option to just input your tax info without paying TurboTax $130 then it's not readily apparent. I don't need all these bells and whistles and every year I get exasperated trying to find an option that costs less without all these dumb, AI powered tools that I don't really need. It's exploitative and gross but good job on lobbying our government to make the filing process as obtuse as possible so that I have to pay you year over year.
