Turbo Tax - a little disappointing this year

The Turbo Tax program was good but there were a lot of roadblocks. Since I could not download the program onto my computer with Windows 10, I lost the ability to use my 2024 tax return information. I thought that the live program tended to be a little more confusing than the regular program. When I opted-in for the live version, I thought it stated that I could switch back to the original version. I could not go back without paying for another program. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 40 years and this year it was just OK. I guess that that I was expecting more.

This was painful

This was an excruciating experience. Like pulling teeth. The runaround to log into websites for investments was absolutely terrible. Logins to major companies would fail for no reason, pull only some information, then demand additional information that was not available in any of the tax forms provided by the institutions nor any of their documents, grinding the entire process to a halt. Aparently this was all in pursuit of "additional tax benefits" that did not actually impact anything. This was awful.

Did not like TurboTax online

We had to engage one of your experts who was very helpful and good, but this was because we had a lot of trouble with TurboTax online which we will never use again. We usually download the app.
