Great tax program

Very easy and friendly to use. Walks you through all the steps with a clear understanding of what information it is requesting. Retrieves all your investment data for you and is ready upon filing. Capability to import last year data and information is a big time saver and speeds up the process and makes the user feel that he has not missed anything based on data from prior years.

2 Major Flaws

I had 2 major issues. (1) Turbo tax said it could not find my previous years tax documents & there was no PDF copy accessible, but it had the receipt on the account with the same email address and turbo tax was able to auto pull in information from the previous year's return including who I donated money to and my bank routing and account number. (2) Many of the topics that applied to me were not reviewed & searched for them for hours. The AI interface did not find them. I had to go to Chat GPT to find out how to access the topics. When I did I received over 2k more of a refund. Not I am curious if last year 2024's return was accurate.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Updates are horrible

I have purchased and used Turbo tax software for 20 years now, and the updates to the program ruined the capatability with my previous tax returns. Forcing customers to use the online version is horrible. I do not like the changes.
