Excellent program -needs improvement in a few item

1. It was not clear how to enter the quarterly payments that I have made to the IRS for credit towards 23025 taxes. I ultimately found it by searching the topic, but it should have come up automatically. 2. I had trouble deciding how to enter a QCD written by personal checking account linked to my IRA., I was deducting my charity donations from the minimum mandatory withdrawal amount. It more clearly states how to do this with direct transfer of charity money from the bank to the charity but only makes a vague statement ABOUT HOW ONE CAN USE PERSONAL CXHECKs linked to the IRA account if one is not itemizing. Being a new part of the tax law, you should provide more detailed information. 3. A longstanding issue is that it is difficult to go to any exact location in the program... It usually takes one to the start of that large section and one must reanswer previously answered questions to get to where one wants to be.

Great Phone Support

The agent, Lucy, was amazing. Efile was rejected originally due to lack of 2024 tax return, which for some reason did not get efiled. The issue was AGI. We spent 68 minutes - unsuccessful at sharing screen. So we did a review/edit of 2025 to fix 2024 AGI issue. 2025 returns were successfully efiled and pending. Kudos for Lucy for leading me through the steps, complicated by the fact that my computer access was very slow. Thanks so much. Suzanne

Turbo-Tax is accurate

The number 1 complaint I would have is that some of the instructional data is difficult to find and the program changes too much from year to year.
