More difficult

The "on-line" web process was more difficult than using the purchase Turbo tax item from the store and I wasn't able to look at individual forms or completed forms until the very end after I had to purchase the software. Also, the on-line version was a lot more expensive and especially adding the state version .

Program 2025 is much worse than previous years

The previous program was much better. It asks several times for the verification of the same things. Not properly transmits all the information from previous taxes. It does not show information from previous year. The information like names of financial institutions which are the same for years asks many times in different places. It was much harder to fill the taxes this year because of software change.

Everything went great

We have used HR Block for 20 years. This year we had software problems with the return, after reinstalling the software 3 times and many hours on the phone we decided to try Turbotax. Considering this was the first time using Turbotax everything went great.

Tax Expert Great

There was an issue concerning the dependent credit f($500) for my adopted adult child not living with me which the software was not allowing me to input. Your tax expert was able to overcome this product problem although it was not an easy solution. Hopefully, she conveyed notice of the issue to your software people (AI robots).

Forced to use Credit Karma account to avoid fees

It is absurd TurboTax charges money to direct deposit money into a personal checking account instead of an Intuit-owned Credit Karma account, regardless of being able to access funds early in Credit Karma.
