in the income are I almost missed my jury duty income - this is a common occurrence I would think and one of the early income questions should ask if you served on a jury and got paid. other areas were hard to follow without seeing a summary of detail behind income especially. also - you need to include the worksheet for qualified dividends and capital tax calculations. this comes with printouts available in taxact I had t do it by hand to make sure the tax calculations were right. Also I did not like that I had to pay in order to see even a draft of my completed 1040. I normally use taxact - and this feature was there - the forms had DRAFT on watermarked on them.

Good but needs to fine tuning (AI can help)

Overall a good experience but it read a consolidated form incorrectly that would've had me miss out on about $1200. Use AI or scanner to read line by line on forms from brokerages to verify that all items are addressed. Second issue I had was sometimes it would only list one title for a box, like Fed EIN versus Federal ID #. Both options would be nice to have to prevent confusion

Pricing Issue

I thought I was using the Federal free version and the $39.00 State version when I got to the end I was charged $148.00. That is for somebody that is on ssa-1099 disability as the only income. Will you please credit my charge card for $148.00 - $39.00 = $109.00
