It's idiocy that we have to go through this every year when the government knows what was reported to them and could easily do this without our input. This is just another tax.

Migration from Disk Version to Online

This year I migrated from a disk install version of Turbo Tax to your online version. The import functionality worked perfectly. That process was easy and accurate. As a long time user, well done once again.

Reliable, but needs more polish.

While Turbo Tax is quite reliable, transitioning from the download version to the online version is not as straightforward as I expected. A lot of information had to be put in manually. Additionally, TurboTax appeared to generate multiple copies of some forms when I "downloaded" which required manual cleanup. At least on generated form appeared to have a "ghost" data entry that had to be corrected. The product would be easier to work with if, after pausing, there were a general prompt along the lines of "what has changed". When some forms were available on the first pass, more on a second pass, and more on a third pass, TurboTax does not do a very effective job of guiding you where to make the appropriate updates.
