Thought a pension plan was an annuity.

I get a pension from GE. The program kept asking for info thinking it was an annuity. It is not.

Difficult to sign on

The product is great but it the on-line version is difficult to sign on. I prefer the old system which allowed me to download the turbo Tax to my computer.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used turbo tax the last 2 years with great success. I really like it & will continue to use it. I was not able to pull in my 2024 Tax information when i first logged in. I also tried to upload my 2024 tax return with no success. I could not find my previous tax return on the website. Not a huge deal, as I had one saved.

Turbo Tax is sooo easy to use!

This is the second year I have filed my taxes via TurboTax, and the interface is so user-friendly that I forgot I was nervous about doing this on my own. The step-by-step process is easy to follow, and it makes you feel like a subject-matter expert. It will flag errors, and it will flag things that you might've missed. Highly recommend.

Glitchy software, wasted hours, major frustration

Ive used Turbo Tax for several years. My experience this year was absolutely HORRIBLE. To the point where we may not use it next year. There were countless glitches where it cycled me through the same screen repeatedly, It wouldn't accept information that I went back to correct things, it double entered my 1099- NEC which confused the system causing further glitching. At the end, in the review, I had to fix a vehicle deduction manually, even though I'd gone back and re entered that information in the program 3-4 times in an effort to fix it. I had gone back to fix it through the program bc in the review I was unable to fix it, amend or enter in any information that it was asking me. My totally time logged on Turbo tax per the timer was over 7 hours but 2+ of that was fixing errors or re-logging in information due to glitches in the program. It was an incredible waste of time and I'm EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend this software to anyone, and will likely find an alternative next year. I'd like a refund for my money and wasted time.
