Turbox tax is not good.

There is no explanation on how to go back to review some items (income and deductions). My SS money did not show up until the final box was checked with your phone called person. She was great, but cost me $29 fo have her tell me where to look. The software get worse and worse each year.

I don't like that you changed it so one must upgrade to Windows 11. Bill Gates has enough money! Plus, I miss having the CD. The online format is confusing. It was not broke, so why did you allegedly fix it?

Clunky and hidden charges

It seemed clunky. Ive used turbo tax for years using a home/business product. At least I knew what I had to pay upfront to use the software. I feel the charges are hidden in the online version and actually cost me about the same although I am retired.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbo Tax always makes this stressful occasion much easier. I've been with Turbo Tax the last 5 years at least and it gets more advanced and helpful every year.

A bit disappointed this year

1099-MISC for Oil & Gas Royalties ownership field presented a problem for which I couldn't get adequate support or direction. My 0.000618% was unacceptable due to it not fitting Turbo's programming requirements. However it worked on one royalty fine and I ultimately entered zero on the other... go figure. It still allowed me to submit and file. This lame issue also forced me to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier.
Used Turbo Tax for years... they're taking the fun out of doing taxes.
