Very Disappointed!!

This was a lot more difficult then using the desk top version!!! My laptop did not have windows 11 and is too old to get it without upgrading my hardware. I think it's wrong to not offer the 2025 desk top version for windows 10 as well as 11. I have used Turbo tax since it came out and I was very disappointed in this years filling and the amont of extreme distress it caused me. I will explore other options before purchasing your product again!!! Very disappointed!!!

Works fine but beware of all the marketing opt-ins

I almost decided not to use the software because there were so many places I had to opt out of receiving marketing and give permission to share my data for marketing purposes. People are just getting tired of all this digital co=opting of personal data for the purpose of making profit. I am one of hose people. Personal privacy is under attack and I am sick of it!!!!

Should not be this hard for a common task

Very difficult to find where to add tax prepayments. Instructions for this were nebulous at best, virtually impossible.

I think the TurboTax software is a very good tool, but since it was my first time using it to file my taxes, the process took me more than four hours. I felt uneasy because I wasn’t familiar with all the forms required. The program does have a solid library that explains why certain forms are needed, but the overall process felt long, and I had to dedicate an entire day to make sure everything was accurate and ready to submit. Overall, my experience was very good,

Easy, quick, and helpful

Turbo tax was so easy to use and get help whenever I had questions. I love how it pulls in info from last year's return and compares it. I used it both on my phone and my laptop and was able to take care of everything from there. It was so clear and guided me throughout.

TurboTax has turned from convenience to scam

While I love that turbotax makes filing taxes easy and helps me navigate all the paperwork as well as all the options available, there is no way that it should cost over 200 dollars. I didn't use any services to file my federal taxes, yet still had to pay $100. Then I get charged a 40 dollar fee at the end to use turbotax. I also selected to pay with my refund (no problem with the fee there). And oh, hey! let's charge an extra 35 dollar to get your refund a whole 5 days earlier??? But no way to waive that fee either... I honestly won't use Turbo Tax again.
