Have used Turbotax for many years. Always had the hard copy. This year did it online, took a while to get used to it.

As Painless As Taxes Can Be

The 2025 Turbo Tax program was the easiest to use to-date. Questions/prompts easily walked through the process. However, important to keep good records on your own. That makes the entire process easier. Have one place where you keep records and consider a spreadsheet to update as the year progresses.

Turbo Tax is GREAT~~~

I did chat with an expert to get an error check. She was very helpful and efficient. They features of Turbo Tax are amazing, how they can connect with your financial institutions, and upload your documents. There were a couple of institutions not listed, but it allowed me to request that they be added. This was my first year, and I will definitely be back next year!

Turbo Tax is very good.

Don't want to use the ID.me junk. I was forced to use it for 2023 taxes and didn't like it at all. They keep sending me adds that I have no interest in and they charge extra money. Otherwise, Turbo Tax is OK. I have used it for many years.

TurboTax Online is quicker but somewhat confusing

This was my first time using the online version of TurboTax. Although the guidance was useful, the product was not as intuitive as it could have been. At this point, I am still partial to the desktop/laptop version of TurboTax.
