I needed to submit my federal return now and my state return later in March, and the program forced me to file both at the same time. I will miss out on about $1000 refund because of this.

Turbo Tax is the way to go

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now and the steps and accuracy with the new tax laws every year and information is phenomenal. My W2 and 1098 are imported automatically and that is so helpful. I have never had a problem with this app.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

This year was not the greatest when using Turbo Tax. We have had good success with your product but this year some things did not work. We were unable to efile, which we did last year, and the download button on the software would not work to download our returns. I was able to navigate and get the forms. But we were forced to file by mail and still had to pay the extra 35 for expedited returns, when that option was not available.

It’s so easy to be able to file my taxes from the convenience of my couch. Luckily I don’t have any tricky deductions so it’s really nice to get my return as quickly as possible!

Always a pretty user friendly system. Don't love all the prompts asking if I want to upgrade my selection but it's easy to hit the button to continue.
