Slow your bankroll

Being able to do all of my taxes right up until the pay and file allowed me the time to do everything I needed at my own pace without losing my progress, and that took a lot of stress off of my shoulders.

Really really bad program

This was an awful process. The online premium (ha!) program is not user-friendly. I spent 5x the time I normally spent using TurboTax desktop version in the past 10 years. TurboTax should continue to support older laptop operating systems for the desktop version instead of leaving us to this crappy online program. My computer isn't even 10 years old. The AI help was useless and sometimes contradictory. Not being able to see the forms as I worked was excrutiating. I wasted so much time. I was never able to see Form 2210 despite checking with the AI search, the support options, and the TT community. Then, at the end, it did not want to e-file for me. It erroneously claimed I didn't use TT last year to efile, but I did and I have the screenshot! Really, really bad program.

Not so great....

The interface is a little cumbersome and then the review is too abbreviated. For example, when it wants to examine a piece of information, it only shows a narrow portion of the sheet you are working from and doesn't have a feature to just open that entire portion of the form. This makes it difficult and it takes longer because at that point, you have to work on one field at a time.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Good way to do taxes. Easy and Intuitive. Works well and is quick. It's what I needed to complete my taxes.
