TurboTax is largely convenient

I have used TurboTax for many years. This year I ran into two issues and had to research online for a solution and then it wouldn't carry over my information at the filing process and it took me some time to determine I could select the "other software" feature for 2023 in order to file. What is interesting is that when I reached the 2023 ADI input screen it had filled in that number. The other issue was with my K-1 entry where Code Z should be left blank to generate the additional entry form I needed. Took me a week before I figured out how to proceed.

Aweful product

Turbo tax has deteriorated into an unworkable, cumbersome, disastrous piece of garbage. I have used turbo tax for 20 + years.. you have made is so cumbersome, I swear I will never use it again. I was charged twice. I was trying to find an error in ,arch, but the software would not allow me to see the final return and I mistakenly filed and the filing was rejected I knew there were errors but couldn’t find the way to get back to input data, or see the summaries in a way that I could find the entry.

The Disc version is better than the online version. Agents were nice but, had to call IRS because the were unable to fix the issue.

Used to be a good alterntiave to going to s tax preparer, now it's more expensive than paying somone else to do all the wotk. Every year it gets more expensive. the automated support before getting to rep id frustrating, asing you to spell your name and it keeps gettin it wrong and you're stuck there saying the sam thing for 5 minutes judt to pell it agin for the rep
