$40 Cash Grab!!

I guess the products themselves are fine. This year I had to upgrade to "fancier" services because of doordashing/independent contract work...again, FINE. But what I am miffed about is the $40 CASH GRAB to process the "pay the fees of your refund with your refund"!! If TurboTax can (and did) file me for free last year (because I didn't do independent work) and PROCESS them over to the feds and state, then they ABSOLUTELY CAN process my "fancy return" for free. It is simply a capitalistic cash grab GROSS TACTIC!!

They Explain things but it is not 100% free. Even without adding the Max, you still pay around $250 to file.

I love that it helps file your own taxes!! The fees are acceptable but free is supposed to be free!!!
