TurboTax eases panic if Amended Filing is needed!

I would give a 4.5 rating if that were possible. My experience this year was a 4.0 at best, mainly due to struggling with "buggy" things like getting form information properly loaded, system hang-ups with data in empty boxes and unrecognized wage types. I also felt like there were overly redundant screens - possibly required by TurboTax legal dept, but noticeably reducing my customer experience.
However, I am very pleased with the product after having to amend my return because I misplaced 2 tax forms that I found after filing. I didn't realize my (premium) purchase included refiling an amended return. I have never needed to do this before, even before e-filing - and that's 40 years of returns! So, this felt like a lifesaver because I went from being upset and not knowing where to start a few hours ago, to amended, filed and moving on with my next life task. Due to my earlier struggles I don't feel I can rate 5.0 but this moment reminded me that my user experience during filing is only part of what TurboTax does. The peace of mind in uncharted waters with the IRS is valuable, too.
