reliable but expensive

Ended up paying $281 for federal and state taxes. Had to figure a lot of things out on my own. But so far over the years they must be doing a good job because i had no hiccups. Just expensive.

Minor aggravations but BIG SAVINGS with TurboTax

Fairly easy doing 2024 return but TurboTax didn't seem to have a record of my 2023 return which was somewhat disturbing. And complicating as well - I had to search my own records for certain information they should have had already. Also, I found their repetitive solicitations to add on more and more services irritating. Also aggravating was when the website suddenly disconnected after a certain amount of time, with no warning or options to stay online.
That said, I got my tax return done and filed fairly easily and way less expensively than having my old CPA doing it. BTW, I found it cheaper to download the program from a big-box store rather buying it online from
TurboTax. I will continue next year and would recommend TurboTax for anyone with a non-complicated return.

turbo tax is annoying
