Go to people in person and file taxes with a human

I don’t like that some people are forced to use the premium option and pay and your filing your taxes in plugging they info yourself if I had to pay to put my own info in I could have just went to a tax preparer in person.

It was my first time doing taxes although it was easy. Turbo tax is sneaky with adding fares.

Too expensive; doesn't explain logic well enough

Too expensive at $200 (for Federal + state), the price of Netflix for a whole year. Simply price price gouging.

They kept switching my product to premium which costs 200 dollars even though the only from I submitted was a W2. All I needed was the basic version. I had to clear and redo my taxes because of this and they got me a second time. I didn't realize they upgraded the service again and by the time I input my credit card information it was too late. I tried multiple times to get my money back and downgrade the service as I had NOT YET FILED my taxes, but customer service said it was a done deal. 200 dollars down the drain. This will absolutely be the last time I use TurboTax.
