Software is good - Service is lackluster

The software is good and easy to use. I would have liked to see more "What's This" or "More Information" style embedded links, as I had to do a fair amount of my own research on other websites to get explanations on certain items. It feels like this is intentional to have you spend more on "Live" assistance. I did not use the upgrades on my return, but I feel it is not a live person, but AI assistance. I also had to decline Tax Return upgrades multiple times to feel annoying. I would prefer for it to honor my choice not to upgrade at the start, when I'm already for the service. I would use this on simple tax returns, but would avoid it for a better program if I had a more complicated tax return (or planned from the start to purchase an upgrade package).

Although the program works well, Over 200 dollars to file is insane. Ill be looking at other options next year.

I love using TurboTax. They make filing your taxes so easy. I’m 35 and have been using TurboTax since I was 18. It’s the only way to file taxes.

I love how TurboTax walks you through the whole process one step at a time. It makes filing easy and reminds you that you're not doing it alone. There's always an agent available if there are any questions. TurboTax is awesome!
