Hidden costs

I was upset at the fact that TurboTax advertises one cost to do your taxes, then twice while completing my return Turbotax said that the forms I needed were going to be an additional cost. This was never made clear up front, and seems like the old 'Bait and Switch' tactic to entice people to join for one cost, then raise costs based on what forms you will need to complete the return. Be truthful up front!

TurboTax only exists because of lobbying

The fact that this product exists is a failure of the American government. Allowing large corporations like Intuit to lobby to make it more difficult for American citizens to file their own taxes, is disgusting. Living in the only first world country that has to make room for the middle-man in our taxes to extract more money out of the average citizen is frankly depressing. Additionally your predatory practices of trying to trick people into using more expensive versions of your product that they don't need is shameful.
I look forward to not seeing this review on the site since I assume any negative reviews get deleted.
