Great explanations given when tax filing

Provides lots of great information, explaining how/why taxes are due, what amounts etc. As someone who likes to go down rabbit holes for info, the site does a good job have having answers to almost all your questions. The only thing I could recommend is that they make clear that 401k's are NOT the same as a traditional/Roth IRA. A 401k is a retirement plan for employed workers and so is not a separate deduction (I think lol)

Gotten a lot worse in the last few years

This year was very bad. The price was a lot more than I expected and the interface for entering my 1099 information for my state return was awful. I even took a screenshot of the 4x4 inch box i had to enter 40 lines in so i could refer to it next year before I do this again. The box was only large enough to display about 5 lines at a time and was bordered with big open white spaces. Obviously, pricing should be up front or I would have immediately gone to another service, but that's deliberate.

This is a shot program and organization. They are crooks. They prevented me from filing my 2024 taxes after $239.00 in charges. Run before you pay them!
