Decent Product / Terrible Company

The product itself is okay, not like it solves all my problems with the help sections feeling vague, whenever I do need them, but it is decent enough. I hate the constant upsell and tactics the product uses to attempt to get you to use the most expensive tier of product possible even if you don't need it. People are already paying out the nose for complex scenarios; I don't want MAX. Ask once and never again. I'm done with Turbotax. This is ridiculous.

Good for w2 disappointing cost for 1099

Easy if just w2 but I did doordash for 2 months so I had an 1099 so I had to pay for premium which was over 150 so that sucks for only 2 months

Too many unnecessary screens. Too many unnecessary animations. Tired of the upsell tactics. Overpriced for what it does, which is completely basic.

Turbo tax was much more difficult than it had been

I have used Turbo Tax for many, many Years (10+). I always had a disk that I could load on my computer. This year was much more difficult, in particular, I could not print a copy to review until I had filed. And then my form was rejected. If the IRS can reject the submitted form because of a technicality, I would think that Turbo Tax could had found the problem and fixed it before suvmitting the form.
