Great Product Except When...

Fantastic product but still falls short of five stars because it does not pickup all my 1099 information, requiring me to still go back and manually search for missing information turbo tax did not pickup when the document transferred. Anything having to do with foreign investments or foreign taxes paid also remains a nightmare - turbo tax is nearly useless for this, as the user to often has to go back to hard copies to enter information not picked up from the bank docs electronically. Its Deductible is a wonderful product as well but still seems to be the unwanted stepchild at Intuit, integration into Turbo Tax since the decision was made to keep it alive has been poor, it is often very difficult to find how you download the charitable donations from ItsDedutible into Turbo Tax.

Don't believe the hype!

Horrible! Just too many glitchy things - like the upload of digital photos did not even putting the information in the right box. Explanations, especially about the things that need fixing, are weak. Also, I could not even see the returns before I sent them out electronically!! That is so wrong that it doesn't pop up correctly in Safari. I will not want to use this software next year. And the estimate that it would take less than 2 hours was off by about 10 hours. Also, the Turbo Tax little annoying animation pop-up claimed they saved me money by itemizing - that wasn't the software that did all the work, that was *me* entering all my deductions.

I use Turbo tax every year. I love that it keeps my info from last year! Turbo tax has taken my complicated tax preparation down from 3 days to 3 hours!

Automatic import of tax docs is very helpful, but a little confusing at times. Incomplete guidance on some sections and not a ton of clarity on special situations like down payment grant assistance. It's also too expensive to file using premium features.

Does not comply with 529 maximum deductions in NY

AI help is terrible. Also, it does not comply with 529 Limit deduction in NY. Previously got audited for this and it still has not been fixed.
