Disturbingly buggy

Very buggy. It kept looping through the self employment section and wouldn't complete. It also hung and spun when adding 1099-INTs and 1099-Rs. Had to reboot to stop it from hanging. Eventually got everything entered, but the self employment section continued to say Review Needed after everything was entered properly. Fortunately it did not block the final filing. This does not instill confidence and it took triple the time it should have. Only reason its not one star is that I was able to get Support on the phone without any delays.

Awesome experience again, have been using Turbo Tax for many years now and it has made filing taxes easy. Even with the changes that happen over the course of my life they continue to provide easy understandable options that provide me with a great refund
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax left me feeling stressed and unprepared

I had a very stressful experience with TurboTax this year. The system keep refreshing and loading slowly. I checked my WiFi and internet speed, which was okay on my end. My returns were rejected for not putting in my 1095-A. I was not prompted to do the first time. I was only asked if I had insurance or not. Putting in this information changed my federal return from $54 to $1,500+, which was a shock.

Just get a CPA

You're better off with a CPA. It's a fine product and if your taxes are straight forward and easy, no damage in using it. But it's not great and it's much better to work with an expert.
