the fees are ridiculous. i feel like i could have spent my whole return on them. i dont see the benefit of doing them myself with this app. needed to get them done though so here is your money. probably wont be back.

Turbo tax needs to fix underpayment penalty calc

Turbo tax has forced me to pay an underpayment penalty for the past 3 years even though one should not be due. The IRS refunded the last two years and hopefully will do the same this year but its really annoying for Turbo tax to force the payment of this invalid penalty upfront.

TURBO TAX is ACCURATE!

I've used turbo tax CD for over 15 years. I'm glad the online worked. I could not download as my computer's OS was outdated. The online access to completed work was a little hard to retrieve and when I entered a form it didn't say how to download it only what it was for. The search helped me clarify what I was looking for. I did not access a live tax expert, the questions and guidance throughout the program was good.

Horrible scam upgrades

Horrible scam! They made me pay $175 for a $2 return. They add upgrades when you don’t need them. They hide support behind paywalls. They don’t tell you what you need to know. It’s hard and confusing. It’s too complicated. They just scam people. Awful. I hate it. Horrible.

Turbo reps are awesome

Customer Service reps were very helpful. My first time filing a 1099-NEC and it is first mentioned in the Self-employment section. My data entry was interrupted and a customer service rep had to tell me to choose the 1099-NEC mentioned lower in the screen for "hobbies." Both reps I talked to were super helpful!
