Some changes in flow, but still prefer Turbo Tax

Not sure why Turbo Tax didn't give me the opportunity to both federal and state taxes in sequence so that I could do the filing process at the same time. The program guided me to file the federal before completing the state which meant I filed them separately. Otherwise it has been a consistently intuitive program.

TurboTax Free is not Free

So much for filing for free. Overall product is not terrible but they charge you $140 to file, they then charge you $40 if you don't want to pay with a credit card but instead pull it from your tax refund.

Good service, App needs polishing

Mostly good service. some parts were much more inconvenient and confusing than last year. The program seems to have a bunch of bugs that were not a problem last year. I also got logged out randomly while in the middle of entering data, but luckily no information was lost. I did have a little trouble finding where I left off though.

Expensive

Very expensive service. They lost my 2023 return which added an hour onto the filing time. Luckily the IRS had my information on file. Next year I will file for free on the IRS website.
