I feel like turbo tax doesn't do a good job of explaining how to file, when a spouse has passed away.

No need for premium

I did not need turbotax premium and only wanted to see if I itemized what the refund was to compare. After doing that though, I realized I was fine with the $49 option but I was not able to go back. It was frustrating and unneccessary. We should be able to put out info in and compare itemized to standard without premium. I am frustrated by the added fees and do not feel I saved 20% as advertised in my email.

Still the Easiest

Works great every time, just wish they would stop driving the price up every year. Was a great deal around 80 bucks, but still a time saver and efficient for 138.

Not as free as one would hope.

Overall the best when it comes to filing taxes. 3 Stars as I started with a free return and ended up paying over $200 to actually file. To many tax return items are locked behind pay walls, and the upgrades are maliciously pushed. I understand the upgrades but maybe only push the upgrades once at the very beginning and be absolutely as clear as possible what those upgrades get you both in benefits and what it enables in the return.
