Ease of use and rolling over data from previous years is a 5 out of 5 stars. But elevating our 'plan' to a premium plan for a simple HSA deduction that a lot of people have is robbery. The price increase 2 weeks before the due date is ROBBERY. It's corporate money grabbing at its finest and so very ugly.

Turbo tax is good

Experts were good.
I think the program needs to provide more guidance when the tax review takes place, and it identifies additonal information but does not conveneiently show where the gaps are. My situation included capital gains information where the issue was hidden outside the margin of the screen, so I was not able to see the isuue.

I like how easy and comprehensive the system is, but it is fornicated up that I'm required to spend money on the premium level because I had a LOSS on my stocks.

America Deserves Better

Intuit spends Millions of Dollars annually to ensure we have to use their products to file our taxes. Every other developed nation sends its citizens an itemized, pre-filled tax form which they can alter as needed. Instead, we have to shuffle through piles of documents and make uneducated guesses then PAY A CORPORATION just to file our taxes. It's a scam at best and a racket at worst. Intuit should be absorbed by the IRS and dismantled.
