too expensive for self service

way too expensive. the user is doing a lot of work on their own. it used to be cheaper than going to an accountant. now, its just as expensive if not more! $230 for fed and state! And my taxes are EASY. One W-2, 2 1099s. No home ownership, no kids/dependents. Married, filing sep, etc. It took me 30 min. Next year I will use an accountant - probably cheaper and no work for me.

First time ever using TurboTax, since we retired I thought I’d try it myself and wow, was it easy. Now I’m hoping I got all the information correct as I entered it. We shall see.

TurboTax saved me time and money!

This service is so fast and easy to use. I usually pay hundreds of dollars and have to wait weeks to see this accountant, which can get stressful. Doing it through TurboTax literally made it so easy and cut the cost significantly. I’ll definitely be doing this again.

Mostly positive, although a Financial Institution was somehow duplicated, and the system did not easily allow for removal during the Review process.
