Constant errors causing 2-3x the time!

Constant error messages! Repeatedly got the error: "Hmm, it looks like we hit a slight snag in this section." This error occurred over and over and made me repeat sections dozens of times. This caused my return using TurboTax to easily take 2-3x the time and 10x the frustration because the web interface is sketchy and only works intermittently. If my info wasn't already in TurboTax, I definitely would have used another service. If you are thinking of changing to TurboTax, DON'T! It isn't worth it. The final insult was telling me one price and then charging me another at the end. It was only a $5 increase, but this should have been disclosed and not a surprise. I am very unhappy and don't recommend using TurboTax.

Reliable and Easy!

TurboTax made tax filing simple and mostly stress free. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, even for someone without a tax background. I especially appreciated the step by step guidance and how it flagged areas that needed review. I didn't use the live expert feature, but the built-in help articles answered most of my questions. My only gripe is the pricing, it gets expensive quickly, especially when adding state returns or extra services. Still, it’s worth it for the peace of mind.
