The only thing worse than paying taxes is TurboTax

It was laggy, it took me through the same steps over and over, it tried to upsell me 30 times, it tried to hide direct deposit so I'd get a stupid Credit Karma money account, it never showed me the right option to mark an IRA distribution as withdrawing an excess contribution. Trash. Horrible. I should never have to deal with this.

Terrible experience using 2024 Turbo Tax!

The questions were not as specific to the actual type of tax forms used as previous years were. The prompts were generic and limited, and omitted questions that specifically pertained to the actual tax form I was filing. I was also forced to upgrade to Premium so I could deduct some biz expenses but the upgrade had acronyms I didn't know nor were explained on the form. When I tried to review my Federal and State forms before eFiling them, a separate pop up screen stayed hung up saying it will take a few moments to upload my forms to review. I waited approximately 10 minutes, nothing came up and in frustration, just filed my forms to get finished after two hours of using TurboTax. I've been using it for the last several years and Never had some a terrible experience!

Laggy app, too many loading screens, too many dumb questions, costs WAY too much.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments
