Too EXPENSIVE when free programs are available.

The program is difficult to navigate if you need to get back to a previously completed section. The questionnaire format is friendly, but doesn't allow one to see the big picture of what you are doing. The price for the program is too expensive. There are many free tax programs out there now to choose from. How about a discount each year you use the program - reward your loyal customers? A live CPA would cost about the same as using the program AND it would save me about 12 hours of work. The program estimated that it should take me 1 hour and 35 minutes to complete. Wishful thinking. As stated above, it took over 12 hours this year! It usually takes about 8. More complications in filing as we get older are not the fault of the program.

Simple and very cost-effective

I am a seasoned Turbo Tax customer. The process is even more straightforward than in the past and saves me soooooo much money. I used fancy tax preparers for 2 years after I sold my house, but they did not save me anything and cost A LOT of money (over $3000 the second year). One concern -- this is the first year I purchased online, and despite waiting over 15 minutes for my document to load for checking, it never did. I hope I can pull a copy for my personal files now that it has been submitted.

Turbo tax is a good product

The product is very good, I have used for years. I have gotten good feedback via phone as well. I would like to see or have the ability to have lower cost based on number of forms needed, as example, after going through the process and finding out that standard deduction is better, my filing is simpler without the various needed forms for itemizing, so I would like to pay accordingly, I.e., a lower fee
