5 stars with turbo tax. Been doing self reporting taxes for a number of years and everything is easily accessible and also transfers over from the previous year. Very easy to use and auto important 1099 documents and w-2’s. 10/10 would recommend to someone who is confident in their ability to file their own taxes.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments, I had a baby

The amount to file, and extra fees to pay with your taxes is a lot. However, it is always easy using turbo tax. I've been a loyal customer since 2013.

At the end the page reloaded and charge me $128 for pro instead of the $89 I was anticipating to spend when using it not using any of the tools for Pro

Its great except for dual-mil filing joint spouses

My spouse and I are both active duty military, met after we in the military and therefore are residents of different states, WA and ID. WA is no problem, no state taxes. the Idaho return has for 12 years not filed correctly EVER! We have never been stationed in ID but it continues to only want us to file as if I am a resident of the state and pay. If we both list that we have been on active duty for the whole year, Turbo Tax should give us options that are unique to dual-mil joint tax filers.

So tired of how much everything on this absurd website costs. An extra $40 fee just to have you take the $138 payment out of my returns? That's a scam if I've ever heard it. I'll be going somewhere else for future returns.
