An unnecessary evil

My god they try to trick you into consenting to advertising or paying for some extra "plan" like, what, 6 or 7 times throughout the process? Really love the last one where it does everything it can to imply that you must consent to share data, even after rejecting that request multiple times previously. Just scummy. If you haven't used them before, don't start. Not worth whatever convenience they seem to offer.

What Used to be an inexpensive quick way to do taxes is now burdensome and glitchy. And expensive. I’ve used them several times over the years and it seems they are getting worse with Time but charging more.

TurboTax is Frustrating and Time-Consuming

I found TurboTax to be more frustrating than helpful. While it promises a smooth, guided experience, the navigation felt clunky and slowed me down significantly. The linear flow made it difficult to go back and make changes or review my numbers efficiently. Instead of streamlining the process, it added unnecessary steps that made filing my taxes more time-consuming than expected. For the price, I expected a more intuitive experience.
