Please stop trying to upsell me products I'm not interested in every 5 minutes! They also made me upgrade to premium when I only had $7 in capital gains. Also also, the new 5 day early direct deposit gamble seems fishy. I'm pretty sure last year's direct deposit was 14 days vs this year's 21...the whole experience just seemed like more aggressive of a sales pitch than previous years.

Turbo taxes makes it easy by keeping previous year information. What I disliked this year is that at check out it keep automatically adding the $44 for premium wether you added direct deposit or not. I would remove it and it would appear again. Those $44 are too much in this economy. I am a single mother to an autistic kid and that money is needed for food and his special needs. I am switching to another company next year.

Path to success

Fairly easy to navigate. What would make the experience slightly easier, would be a start to finish “path” at the top of the page. At any time during the process, an individual can simply tap on any portion of the “path” and it instantaneously brings the tax preparer back to that point in the tax return.
Using the back arrows may feel like the information may have to be re-entered.
