Turbo Tax got harder to use!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years but this is the first time online through Intuit account. It didn't have my historical information, so I uploaded last year's return. Didn't seem to populate information from it. I attached documents and it didn't even use them as I filled out the return.
I uploaded pdf. docs and connected.to my financial institutions for 1099 forms. They didn't get included return until I went back and re-added information.
In the past, Turbo Tax would walk me through all of the items. This time, I needed to double check everything and go backward to add items. I have low confidence that it will be accurate.
I only got the higher priced support package because I don't trust that Turbo Tax has me covered this year.
My return wasn't accepted because I typed my wife's birth year wrong. I already input it through the process of filling out my tax information. Couldn't Turbo Tax have flagged the possible error instead of letting it get rejected?

Helpful suggestions and guidance throughout the process. Clergy details, HSA and 529 plans and working through a new penalty reduction form. TurboTax was able to keep my information, let me jump back and forth from section to section and answer my questions with the links and hep feature.
