I’ve been filing with Turbo tax for many years and have never had a problem with filing. Questions are always answered and nothing is left behind to find deductions and or missing itemizations. Great job Turbo Tax!

Hidden fees at every button click

It’s fairly easy-ish, but can get hung up on little variations that create big issues and it isn’t very easy to correct or find out exactly what it is that you need to correct for that matter. On top of that, they try to charge you for every piece of help or service, and the fees go up every year. I’ve used TurboTax for 5 years now and next year I’m going to look into doing my taxes somewhere else

Solid tool but do your own research

We've used TurboTax for several years. Had issues with the state return we used it for our first year, where we ended up having to pay a pretty steep fine. We did have a fairly unique tax situation, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt, but still wouldn't recommend blindly trusting the program. Since that year we've continued to use it as a tool but with our own supplemental research & have had no problems!
However, it does always take about 3x longer than the estimate!
